De Nikolits has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English and Philosophy from The University of The Witwatersrand, Johannesburg. She has worked as an art director in the United States, Australia and Britain for Marie Claire, Vogue Australia, and Vogue Living. She has worked on Canadian Health & Lifestyle, Canadian Living, Cosmetics and other Canadian magazine titles.
