This is a list of countries by cancer rate, as measured variously by the number of new cancer cases (frequency), or death rate (mortality), per 100,000 population among countries (and dependencies). Other statistics- According to the American National Cancer Institute, the statistics for the USA was 454.8 from a 2016 estimation based on the 2008-2012 cases diagnosed.[3] Latest total new cases for 2018 are 1,735,350 which, in a US population of ca. 327 million, gives a steady increase to a new rate of 530.7 per 100,000.[4][5]
