释义 |
Sex occurs frequently in the Hebrew Bible, with extensive laws regulating it. {{POV|date=August 2017}}Homosexuality{{main|The Bible and homosexuality}}{{main|Homosexuality in the Hebrew Bible}}The Bible refers to homosexuality numerous times in both the Old Testament and New Testament (including by Jesus). Every place it is mentioned it is referred to in a negative light. The teaching from the Scriptures are clearly against homosexual behavior of any kind. {{wikisource|Bible (King James)/Leviticus#Chapter 18|Leviticus 18 (KJV)}}Leviticus 18:22 says: {{cquote|Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; it is an abomination.}}Leviticus 20:13 states: {{cquote|If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads.}}[1][2]These verses prohibits male homosexual acts. Ham’s actions in Genesis 9:20-25, are debated upon because of the vagueness of the script, but some interpret it as Ham doing something sexual with his father Noah, while Noah was passed out drunk in his tent.[3][4]Passages
