Its enrollment for the 2015-2016 school year is 1,963 students. It is part of the North Colonie Central Schools school district, and is fed in part by Shaker Junior High School. SportsThere are 28 interscholastic sports at Shaker.[3] Shaker's "Blue Bison" sports teams include boys' soccer, basketball, track, Cross Country, golf, ice hockey, wrestling; girls' field hockey, lacrosse; boys' and girls' swimming, diving, gymnastics, tennis, cheerleading, softball, volleyball, bowling, and football. Shaker also has several club teams, including Shaker Crew, the rowing team.[4] MusicShaker High School has several curricular band, orchestra, choral, and wind ensembles.
