Below is a list of players who have won multiple FIFA Women's World Cups. Germany's Birgit Prinz is the only player who has appeared in 3 World Cup finals (winning 2 of them).[1]

Notes

  • No player has won two World Cups both as captain. Carla Overbeck (1999), Birgit Prinz (2007) and Christie Rampone (2015) lifted the trophy once as captain, but were not captain for the other tournament.
  • Birgit Prinz of Germany is the only player to appear in three final matches, in 1995, 2003 and 2007. Christie Rampone was on the roster of three U.S. teams that advanced to the final (1999, 2011 and 2015), but did not appear in the 1999 final.
