释义 |
L.S.V. was revealed to the campus in February 1908,[2] and speculation immediately began that it was the female sister-chapter to QEBH. L.S.V. is the highest honor bestowed upon a woman at the University. The society taps four to six outstanding women or men [3][4] during the spring of their junior year, and their identities remain secret until the annual Tap Day ceremony near the close of the following academic year. Although L.S.V. is more than 100 years old, it did not begin taking part in Tap Day ceremonies until the mid-1960s.[5] References1. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.themaneater.com/stories/2000/4/18/honorary-societies-tap/ |title=Honorary societies on tap – The Maneater |publisher=Themaneater.com |date=2000-04-18 |accessdate=2013-08-21}} {{Mizzou}}{{honor-stub}}2. ^ {{dead link|date=August 2013}} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.themaneater.com/stories/2002/4/12/what-fudge-tap-day/ |title=What the Fudge?: Tap Day – The Maneater |publisher=Themaneater.com |date= |accessdate=2013-08-21}} 4. ^MU Sinclair School of Nursing Student Recognized Multiple Times During His Mizzou Career For Outstanding Service 5. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.themaneater.com/stories/2009/4/20/secret-societies-reveal-new-members-tap-day/ |title=Secret societies reveal new members on Tap Day – The Maneater |publisher=Themaneater.com |date=2009-04-20 |accessdate=2013-08-21}} 5 : Collegiate secret societies|Honor societies|Student societies in the United States|Student organizations established in 1908|1908 establishments in Missouri |
