Luni, pronounced "Looni", is a village in the Balochistan province of Pakistan. It is located about {{convert|11|km|mi}} north of the city of Sibi in Sibi District of Balochistan Province, at an altitude of {{convert|495|ft|m}}. This village is inhabited by the Loni tribe of Pashtuns. The elders of the tribe, led by one Asad Khan Luni, migrated from near Moqor in Afghanistan in the 1660s and settled in Sibi.The population in 2011 was 1875 in 302 households.[1] The tribe and the village is currently led by Abdulaziz khan luni, a senior retired bureaucrat.{{citation needed|date=May 2015}}Luni tribe defeated the Marri tribe several times during the 19th century.
