{{expand Chinese|date=December 2014}}{{Chinese name|Lü}}Lü Chen Chung ({{zh|t=呂振中|p=Lü Zhènzhōng}}; 13 April 1898 in Nan'an county of Southern Fujian – 10 March 1988 in Singapore) was a Chinese Anglican priest, university lecturer and Bible translator.[1]

He is best known for the Lu Chen-Chung version of the Bible of which the New Testament was published in 1946 (呂譯新約初稿) by Yenching University Press, and the Old Testament completed in 1970. It is a very important version for Theology and Bible study. This version ignored Chinese grammar rules, to make the translation as close to Hebrew and Greek as possible. It is public domain, people are encouraged to download or print it. However, printed version is limited and hard to find. [2]
