ProductionMadhuraiyai Meetta Sundharapandiyan is based on the serial novel Kayalvizhi by Akilan.[2] It was M. G. Ramachandran's final film as an actor.[3][4] Then he became a full-time politician after this film. (When this film was released, Ramachandran was already Tamil Nadu's chief minister since months).[5]SoundtrackSoundtrack was composed by M. S. Viswanathan.
