PoliticsOn 11 March 2014 Maurya in a joint press conference with Rashtriya Parivartan Dal's chief DP Yadav said "Our party does not have any ideology... Our main aim is to grab power for the welfare of our society... Every one is doing so but I say it openly.".[1] Maurya added that his party "did not have the position to contest in the Lok Sabha polls alone" and its "alliance with RPD will continue in future too".
