Malikayya Venkayya Guttedar is a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, representing the town of Afzalpur in the district of Gulbarga. Ex Minister Government of Karnataka and senior leader from Gulbarga district He was a member of the Indian National Congress party but joined BJP^[1] on 9th April 2018.^[2] He recently lost against MY Patil in 2018 Karnataka Legislative Elections

On 24 April 2017, a racing car driven by Guttedar's son went airborne, flipped over three times and crashed on a racing track near Virajpet with a passenger inside.^[3] Both racers were safe.
