The film stars Darshan, Radhika and Rakshita in the lead roles.[1] The film is a remake of Telugu film Samba (2004) directed by V. V. Vinayak and starring Jr. NTR, Genelia D'Souza and Bhoomika Chawla. Some of the scenes also draws parallels from Tamil films such as Baashha and Madhurey.[2] The film was released on 6 January 2006 across Karnataka cinema halls and received mixed response from critics and audience.
