词条 | Maria Bartola |
释义 |
Through her own experiences witnessing this siege, sometimes from the battle field itself, “she began to write a history of her time.” Unfortunately, her writing has not survived for the Spaniards burned it. It is thanks to historian Fernando de Alva Cortés Ixtlilxochitl that we know of her work and of her.[2] References1. ^{{cite book|last=Gugliotta|first=Bobette|title=Women of Mexico: The Consecrated and the Commoners, 1519-1900|year=1989|publisher=Floricanto Press|page=37|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=-ZULAAAAYAAJ&q=Maria+Bartola&dq=Maria+Bartola&hl=en&sa=X&ei=7pkbUoKKBrTi4AOMtoCwDw&ved=0CFIQ6AEwBg|isbn=978-0-915745-16-6}} {{Authority control}}{{DEFAULTSORT:Bartola, Maria}}2. ^1 {{cite book|last=León|first=Vicki|title=Uppity Women of the New World|year=2001|pages=242–243|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=_18E-D8Yy3wC&lpg=PA312&dq=Maria%20Bartola&pg=PA242#v=onepage&q&f=false|isbn=978-1-57324-187-8|publisher=Conari Press}} 5 : 16th-century historians|16th-century indigenous people of the Americas|History of the Aztecs|Aztec people|16th-century women |
