}}Maria Sarabaş (born January 2, 1948) is a folk music singer from Chişinău, Moldova.[1] She was a notable member of the Christian-Democratic People's Party (Moldova), serving as the Honorary president of "Societatea Doamnelor Creştin-Democrate" (from 26 November 2000 to June 2005, when Sarabaş left the party).[2]
