}}Martin Garrix is a Dutch DJ and electronic music producer from Amstelveen, North Holland, Netherlands.[1] His discography consists of a compilation album, three extended plays (EP), 52 singles, 34 music videos and eight remixes. Part of the Dutch emergence of electronic dance music DJs, Garrix became widely known after his single "Animals" became a worldwide hit.[2] It went number one in the United Kingdom, Belgium, and on the US Billboard Hot Dance Club Songs chart, and it reached the top ten of several charts across Europe during late 2013 to early 2014. Garrix is the youngest Dutch artist to ever have a number one single in the United Kingdom.[1]

Garrix has collaborated with artists such as the Grammy Award-winning singer Usher,[3][4] Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha, Troye Sivan, and Khalid. He has also collaborated with fellow DJs such as Tiesto, Avicii, David Guetta, Afrojack, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike.

He released an EP in 2014 titled Gold Skies, which became his first EP to chart on the Billboard 200 and the Top Heatseekers Albums charts. All five singles from Gold Skies charted in the Netherlands, with "Animals" and "Wizard" peaking the highest. The former became his first single to be certified platinum in seven countries.

In 2015, he released a dual single titled Break Through the Silence, consisting of two songs "Dragon" and "Break Through the Silence". Garrix also released seven singles including a collaboration with Usher titled "Don't Look Down",[3] which has been certified gold in three countries. The song was also his most successful in 2015.

Upon launching his own record label Stmpd Rcrds, Garrix released his 2016 debut single "Now That I've Found You".[5] The song charted in Austria, France, and the Netherlands. He released two other singles — "Oops", anthem for the 2016 E3 video game event,[6] and "Lions in the Wild", a collaboration with British DJs Third Party, which was also introduced as the first song during Garrix's performance at the 2016 Ultra Music Festival.[7]

One of his most successful career singles, "In the Name of Love", a collaboration with American singer Bebe Rexha,[8] was released in 2016 and became his first song to be certified diamond in a country. It also was his first song to be certified three-times platinum in a country. The song is also his highest-peaked single in Austria. In the same year, he released his third EP, titled Seven, which charted on the Dance/Electronic Albums chart in the United States. All seven singles from Seven were released digitally day-after-day.[9][10]

His first 2017 single, "Scared to Be Lonely", a collaboration with English singer and songwriter Dua Lipa,[11] became his joint highest-peaked single in the Netherlands, alongside "Animals". The song became his first to be certified four-times platinum in a country. "Byte", his next single, charted in one country. His following single, "There For You", a collaboration with Australian singer Troye Sivan,[12] was certified platinum in two countries and gold in three others.

His two next releases were "Pizza",[13] which was first played as the last song during Garrix’s 2017 Tomorrowland set, and "Forever",[14] a collaboration with Russian DJs Matisse & Sadko, which was first played during Garrix’s 2017 Creamfields set. Both singles charted in several countries. He then collaborated with French DJ David Guetta and they released the single "So Far Away", featuring English singer Jamie Scott and Dutch singer Romy Dya,[15] which charted in several countries and was certified gold in five countries. The song—an earlier version of which featured English singer Ellie Goulding's vocals—was first played during Garrix’s 2017 Tomorrowland set where he was joined on stage by Guetta.[16]

In 2018, Garrix collaborated with Guetta and Dutch DJ Brooks and released the single "Like I Do", which charted in several countries and was certified gold in two countries. He then collaborated with Dutch DJ Loopers and released "Game Over", which charted on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs.[17] Garrix released his next single "Ocean", a collaboration with American singer and songwriter Khalid.[18] The song charted in several countries including Australia, UK, US, and the Netherlands, and has been certified gold in Australia. He released his fourth single of 2018, "High on Life", a collaboration with singer Bonn, which was first played during Garrix's headlining set at the 2018 Tomorrowland music festival.[19] The single was made available for streaming after Garrix's closing set. His fifth single "Burn Out", a collaboration with Dutch DJ Justin Mylo featuring Dewain Whitmore, was released on September 14. The music video was released on the same day.[20] On 14 October 2018, the first song of Garrix's five singles from his Bylaw EP was released, in a manner similar to the singles of his 2016 Seven EP. Titled "Breach (Walk Alone)", it is a collaboration with fellow DJ Blinders. The second single "Yottabyte" was released the next day. The third and fourth singles "Latency" and "Access" were released on 16 and 17 October 2018, and "Waiting for Tomorrow" was released on 19 October 2018. The EP was released in full the same day. On 1 November 2018, "Dreamer", a Garrix collaboration with American singer Mike Yung, was released. His single with long-time collaborator Julian Jordan titled "Glitch" was released on 14 December 2018.[23]
