Club careerBorn in Santiago, Ramírez was a prolific goalscorer at CD Palestino's youth setup.[1] In the 2012 summer, aged only 15, he was bought by Udinese Calcio, with the deal only being completed in 2014, due to his age.[2] Ramírez was promoted to Palestino's first team in January 2013, and made his professional debut on 9 November, replacing Pablo Tamburrini in the 57th minute and scoring the winner in a 2–1 home success against Cobresal.[3] He appeared in nine league games during the campaign, scoring three goals. On 12 August 2014 Ramírez signed a five-year deal with Granada CF, Udinese's parent club, and was assigned to the B-team in Segunda División B.[4] On 26 January 2017, Matias has been released from Granada.[5] References1. ^Matías Ramírez, goleador absoluto de la categoría sub 15: "A Palestino lo llevo en el corazón" (Matías Ramírez, absolute goalscorer in the under-15 category: "I take Palestino into my heart"); Cooperativa, 17 July 2011 {{es icon}} 2. ^Matías Ramírez: “Es un sueño cumplido estar en Europa” (Matías Ramírez: "It is an accomplished dream to be in Europe"); Fútbol Joven Chile, 3 August 2013 {{es icon}} 3. ^Palestino venció a Cobresal y sigue en la lucha por la Liguilla (Palestino defeated Cobresal and keeps in the fight for the Liguilla); ANFP, 9 November 2013 {{es icon}} 4. ^Matías Ramírez nuevo fichaje del filial (Matías Ramírez new signing of the reserves) {{webarchive|url=https://web.archive.org/web/20141022141437/http://www.granadacf.es/es/el-club/noticias-club/910-matias-ramirez-nuevo-fichaje-del-filial |date=22 October 2014 }}; Granada's official website, 12 August 2014 {{es icon}} 5. ^Matías Ramírez se desvincula del Granada B‚ granadacf.ideal.es, 26 January 2017 External links
