He is the younger brother of two footballers, Muller who is currently without club and Maicon, who currently plays for Turkish club Galatasaray S.K..[1] Professional careerIn 2013, after being named to first team of Sport Club Internacional, Maurides played against América Mineiro. On the 88th minute of the game for the Copa do Brasil, Maurides celebrates a goal trying a backflip and sustained an injury on his right knee, kept him sidelined for 13 months.[2] After several spells in Brazil and Portugal, on 12 July 2018, Maurides signed with Bulgarian club CSKA Sofia for an undisclosed fee.[3] In February 2019, he signed a two year contract with Changchun Yatai.[4] Career statisticsClub{{updated|19 February 2019}}[5]
