Old Meadowvale is a sub-division in the city of Mississauga, Ontario. Its boundaries are Derry Road to the northwest, Creditview Road to the south, Mavis Road to the northeast, and Highway 401 to the southeast. Notable places include: a Georgian manor built by Charles Horace Gooderham, now Rotherglen School, a Montessori school,[1] and the Credit Valley Conservation Area (CVC). Now, Old Meadowvale is a residential area with four schools; three public or Catholic, one Montessori private. HistoryCharles Horace Gooderham built a "country property", a Georgian manor in northern Mississauga (929 Old Derry Road) in 1870, but sold in 1884 and is now the Rotherglen School Meadowvale Elementary Campus, a private Montessori school. When this happened, more people started to come. Now, many people live there from many different cultures. Old Meadowvale NowToday, Old Meadowvale is a residential area. A popular place includes the Credit Valley Conservation Area, where the Credit River passes through.
