Mekhliganj and Kuchlibari police stations serve this block. Headquarters of this block is at Changrabandha.[1][2] GeographyMekhliganj is located at {{coord|26.35|N|88.92|E|format=dms|}}. Mekhliganj community development block has an area of 288.64 km2.[2] Gram panchayatsGram panchayats of Mekhliganj block/ panchayat samiti are: Bagdokra Fulkadabri, Bhotbari, Changrabandha, Jamaldaha, Kuchlibari, Niztaraf, Ranirhat and Uchalpukuri.[3]DemographicsAs per 2011 Census of India Mekliganj CD Bloc had a total population of 155,250, of which 150,767 were rural and 4,483 were urban. There were 80,052 males and 75,198 females.
