Meriem Fekkai ({{lang-ar|مريم فكاي}}), sometimes spelled Fekai or Fekkai, was an Algerian singer. Born in 1889 and died in July 18, 1961, Meriem Fekkai is native of Biskra[1] from a Jewish family,[2] although she was raised in Algiers where she began and ended her musical career.[3]

She began her singing career rather late, but her talent was such as it had a great success at the time, she played the Hawzi of Arab-Andalusian music and put to music many poems of the Algerian directory.
