}} Methona confusa (giant glasswing) is a species of butterfly of the family Nymphalidae. DescriptionMethona confusa has a wingspan of about {{convert|80|mm}}. Wings are transparent with black margins and black cross-bars on the forewings and the hindwings. The margins of the hindwings show a series of small white spots. The body has a double parallel series of conspicuous white spots. Antennae are black, with yellowish tip.
