Mian Farooq Shah (born in Nowshera, Pakistan on June 1907) was an Afghanistan field hockey player, who competed at the 1936 Summer Olympic Games in Berlin and played in one game.[1]He the sports minister of Afghanistan (1935 - 1936). Farooq studied Agriculture in Reading University in London, England. In August of 1931, he became the first man of North West Frontier Province to gain his British Aviators license.
