She represented {{nwrut|England}} at the 2010 Women's Rugby World Cup. She was also named in the squad to the 2014 Women's Rugby World Cup.[1] She captained England to the 2013 Rugby World Cup Sevens.[2][3] Staniford was awarded the IRB Women’s Player of the Year in 2012.
