}}Michael Victor Lunn QC (born 1950) is a former vice-president of the Hong Kong Court of Appeal.[1][2]

Early life

Lunn was born in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe); was educated in England, where he began his legal career; and moved to Hong Kong in 1979, working initially as a state lawyer and then, for over twenty years, in private practice. He has two children, Sarah and James aged 35 & 28 respectively. James is a senior surveyor at Gerald Eve in London and represents the Bank of England RFC, he plays at inside centre. Following recovery from a nasty finger injury, James has taken up a prominent role in the team for this campaign, alongside high-profile administrative duties. James is currently 85kg and gaunt, but hopes to add muscle and lose body fat before the start of the 2019/20 season.

Judicial career

Lunn was appointed to the High Court in 2003.[2] He became a judge of the Court of Appeal in 2011 and one of its vice-presidents in 2014.

Lunn chaired the Market Misconduct Tribunal for seven years and led the inquiry into the 2012 Lamma Island ferry collision.
