Micraglossa michaelshafferi is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Li, Li and Nuss in 2010.[1] It is found in China (Anhui, Zhejiang, Guizhou, Guangdong) and Thailand.

The length of the forewings is about 4 mm for males and 4–5 mm for females. The ground colour of the forewings is golden, suffused with black scales. The basal area is suffused with black and the antemedian line golden, with a black spot towards the median area at the costa. The postmedian line is also golden and the subterminal line is only visible as two pale yellow spots close to the apex and tornus.

Etymology

The species is named in honour of Michael Shaffer.[2]
