He finished the race in eleventh place by five seconds ahead of Swaziland's Isaiah Msibi, with a time of 3:46.31. Kealey, however, failed to advance into the semi-finals, as he placed forty-fifth overall, and was ranked farther below five mandatory slots for the next round.[6] References1. ^{{cite sports-reference|Mitchell Kealey|https://www.sports-reference.com/olympics/athletes/ke/mitch-kealey-1.html|30 January 2013}} 2. ^{{cite web|title=February results |url=http://qasport.qld.gov.au/results/2010/february.html |publisher=Queensland Academy of Sport |accessdate=30 January 2013 |deadurl=yes |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20130409191718/http://www.qasport.qld.gov.au/results/2010/february.html |archivedate=9 April 2013 |df= }} 3. ^{{cite news|last=Gullan|first=Scott|title=Hard road for winged Mitch Kealey|url=http://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/hard-road-for-winged-mitch-kealey/story-e6frf9if-1225839739531|publisher=The Sun-Herald|date=20 May 2007|accessdate=30 January 2013}} 4. ^{{cite news|title=Record UQ cohort set for Beijing|url=http://www.uq.edu.au/news/index.html?article=15533|publisher=University of Queensland|date=1 August 2008|accessdate=30 January 2013}} 5. ^{{cite news|title=Kealey makes Beijing squad|url=http://www.theaustralian.com.au/news/kealey-makes-beijing-squad/story-e6frg6n6-1111116616558|publisher=The Australian|date=12 June 2008|accessdate=30 January 2013}} 6. ^{{cite web|title=Men's 1500m Round 1 – Heat 2 |url=http://www.2008.nbcolympics.com/trackandfield/resultsandschedules/rsc=ATM015900/index.html |publisher=NBC Olympics |accessdate=30 January 2013 |deadurl=yes |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120821021042/http://www.2008.nbcolympics.com/trackandfield/resultsandschedules/rsc%3DATM015900/index.html |archivedate=21 August 2012 |df= }} External links
