"Mole Park") is a simulation video game for the iOS (iPhone and iPad), published by Chinese video game developer Taomee, which also developed Mole Kart.[2] It is one of the most popular games in Asia, with over 100 million registered users.[3][4] GameplayThe gameplay is extremely similar to Smurfs' village. Players plant and then collect crops after a certain period of time.[5] In order to manage the crops, though, Moles are needed to till the fields. One new mole is added each time a new house is built in the village.[5] For each task a mole is also needed to complete it, for example building the aforementioned houses.[5] However, completing the tasks take time (up to one day) and thus the players may choose to instantly completed by spending a virtual currency, known as "Supershells".[5] There are also mini-games to be played in the characters' homes, for example a fruit-slicing game very similar to Fruit Ninja.[5] PlotAn evil mole wizard named Kula (alternatively spelt Kura) has destroyed the village of Uncle Bodhi (chinese:菩提大叔) and Mason (chinese:梅森), and thus they must rebuild their community with the help of the player.[5] Molele (Chinese:摩乐乐), a young mole, is chosen by destiny to protect the village.[6] ReceptionReviews noted its similarity with Smurfs Village.[5] MonsterFreeApps said "It’s one of the best free iPhone apps that I’ve come across in a while."[7] References1. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://au.gamespot.com/moles-world/|title=Mole's World|publisher=GameSpot.com|accessdate=19 September 2016 |archiveurl=https://archive.is/20130123180706/http://au.gamespot.com/moles-world/|dead-url=yes|archivedate=2013-01-23}}{{deadurl|date=September 2016|fix-attempted=yes}} 2. ^1 {{cite web|url=http://m.61.com/mole|title=Official Site|publisher=Taomee|accessdate=19 September 2016 |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120123045619/http://m.61.com/mole |archivedate=23 January 2012 }} 3. ^{{cite web|url=http://iphone.pandaapp.com/news/02232012/182556349.shtml|title=New Resident Movies (sic) in to Mole's World with The Spring Update|publisher=PandaApp|accessdate=19 September 2016}} 4. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.anjelsyndicate.org/2012/02/20/mole-baby-taomee-launches-game-for-iphone-ipod-touch-and-ipad/|title=Mole Baby - TaoMee Launches Game For iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad|author=Tiffany "Token Gamer Chick" Toms|publisher=AnjelSydnicate|accessdate=19 September 2016 |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20120620014323/http://www.anjelsyndicate.org/2012/02/20/mole-baby-taomee-launches-game-for-iphone-ipod-touch-and-ipad/ |archivedate=20 June 2012 }} 5. ^1 2 3 4 5 6 {{cite web|url=http://www.gamezebo.com/games/moles-world/review|title=Mole's World Review|publisher=Gamezebo|first=Christopher|last=Mack|accessdate=19 September 2016}} 6. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.stvf.com/InformationEn/CandidateProgramsDetail.aspx?FilmType=Animation&id=fc18373a-4c40-4893-974b-339c529d4838|title=The 18th Shanghai Television Festival|accessdate=19 September 2016 |archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20160304191308/http://www.stvf.com/InformationEn/CandidateProgramsDetail.aspx?FilmType=Animation&id=fc18373a-4c40-4893-974b-339c529d4838 |archivedate=4 March 2016 }} 7. ^http://monsterfreeapps.com/mole%E2%80%99s-world-free-iphone-apps-reviews/{{dead link|date=March 2017 |bot=InternetArchiveBot |fix-attempted=yes }} External links
