She graduated from Tufts University, and spoke several languages.[3] Glynn died from injuries from a falling tree in September 2014. She and her husband Joe Foust were bicycling on the North Branch Trail in Erickson Woods, suburban Chicago, on September 5 when a sudden storm swept through; wind gusts in the area were over 70 miles per hour (110 km/h).[2] The tree fell on them just as they were about to take shelter. Foust was not significantly injured, but Glynn died of her injuries on September 6 at a hospital in Evanston, Illinois.[2][4] By September 8, a GiveForward.com memorial fund had collected $135,000.[5] At the time of her death, both her sons, from a previous marriage, were teenagers.[3] References1. ^{{cite news|title=Molly Glynn Obituary|url=http://www.legacy.com/memorial-sites/2014/obituary.aspx?n=Molly-Glynn&pid=172390172&ua=qaPpD8s%2bgk4cGJZAXEgmUg%3d%3d|accessdate=September 9, 2014|agency=Associated Press|publisher=Legacy.con}} 2. ^1 2 3 {{cite news | url = http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/theater/chi-chicago-theater-actress-molly-glynn-story.html | title = Chicago actress Molly Glynn dies after being struck by falling tree | first1 = Nina | last1 = Metz | first2 = Alexandra | last2 = Chachkevitch | date = 2014-09-06 | work = Chicago Tribune | edition = online | accessdate = 2014-09-08 | location = Chicago }} 3. ^1 {{cite news | url = http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/theater/ct-molly-glynn-obit-column.html | title = Remembering Molly Glynn, 46, a talented actress with many roles | first = Chris | last = Jones | date = 2014-09-07 | work = Chicago Tribune | edition = online | accessdate = 2014-09-08 | location = Chicago }} 4. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/09/08/molly-glynn-dies-dead-chicago-fire-actress-obituary_n_5782002.html|title=Molly Glynn Dies; 'Chicago Fire' Actress Killed By Falling Tree During Powerful Storm|agency=Associated Press|publisher=Huffington Post|date=2014-09-08|accessdate=2014-09-08}} 5. ^{{cite news | last1=Duke | first1=Alan | title='Chicago Fire' actress Molly Glynn killed by falling tree during bike ride | url=http://www.cnn.com/2014/09/08/showbiz/chicago-fire-actress-molly-glynn-killed/index.html?hpt=hp_t2|publisher=CNN.com | date=2014-09-08 | accessdate=2014-09-09}} External links
