The first game of the series was released in September 2012 for Apple iOS.[1] Ports of the game for other touchscreen smartphone operating systems were later released, including versions for Android, Amazon Kindle Fire tablet, Barnes & Noble Nook. The game was also released in the portable console PlayStation Vita. In 2015. The success of the title prompted Big Blue Bubble to create various spin-off apps including My Mammott and Furcorn's Jelly Dreams featuring popular characters from the My Singing Monsters . In September 2015, the company released the second official game of the series, My Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire on iOS and Android. The original GameIn My Singing Monsters, players collect and breed many different types of monsters, each of which has a unique musical line that is either sung, or played on an instrument. The gameplay environment consists of 18 islands, seven of which are unique, five have natural elements of the first five (mirror islands are included in the first five) and one new island called Fire Haven, which consists of monsters from Dawn of Fire. Monsters, even if any of them are muted, generate coins, Shards, food and diamonds which can in turn be used to acquire many decorations, remove obstacles, build structures, and buy food for the monsters to level up and make more money. There are also achievements and goals to direct gameplay, with in-game currency as rewards.[2] Diamonds are premium items used to speed up processing products, upgrade certain structures, and for buying monsters whilst some can be bought with coins. Shards are the Ethereal equivalent of coins, and can be used to purchase buildings and decorations on Ethereal Island, or used to feed monsters on Tribal Island. Many in-game actions earn experience points, which unlock new monsters, structures, upgrades and achievements when enough are accumulated. Each monster is unique by its configuration of elements. The most common elements in the game are Earth, Water, Cold, Plant, Air, and Fire with availability of each element depending on the island. In Plant Island, there is an absence of the element Air and all monsters associated with it. In Cold Island, there is an absence of the element Earth and all monsters associated with it. In Air Island, there is an absence of the element Plant and all monsters associated with it. In Water Island, there is an absence of the element Cold and all monsters associated with it. In Earth Island, there is an absence of the element Water and all monsters associated with it. In Fire Haven, there are absences of the elements Cold and Water and all monsters associated with it. This is where the fire element is being used. The common elements can be combined to create less common and more valuable monsters using a Breeding Structure. The Breeding Structure can also create rarer monsters that do not necessarily possess any of the common elements. The rarest elements include the Ethereal elements of Plasma, Shadow, Mech, Crystal, and Poison which can be on natural islands but they cannot breed, the element Legendary for the character Shugabush, related monsters, and The Werdos (Tawkerr on Plant and Cold islands, Parlsona on Plant and Air islands, Maggpi on Cold island, and Stoowarb on Air island); the element Electricity for the monster Wubbox and the Wublin monsters; and the fire element for the Kayna. There are special elements such rares and epics which are exclusive and hard to get. In My Singing Monsters, you have a breeding structure where you can breed monsters like Furcorn, Punkelton and more. You can also breed your parent monster with a monster with the same elements to get your monsters.Structures in the game mostly involve in helping with the gameplay. Most structures either perform functions with diamond or food production, dealing with tasks relating to monsters, and moving them to a hotel to conserve "beds" ( space in the castle.) Hotels themselves have beds which like the castle, you can upgrade to get more beds. The game's built-in social features allow players to visit each other's islands to share their personalized songs and island configurations. Players can also publish information about their progress on Facebook. Likewise, players can invite other players to join them in gameplay by using social media, e-mail or adding via “friend code". You can light “wishing torches” which help to get special monsters like ethereal or event monsters. There are multiple monsters in the game with multiple elements. The single element monsters include the Mammott, Potbelly, Noggin, Toe Jammer, Tweedle and Kayna. In the game, Kayna is now a natural monster not only appears on tribal island but she appears on the new fire haven. Some monsters are technically single elementals, but they can’t really breed. Some of these monsters are Gjoob and Yawstrich who have the mythical element, Wubbox and The Wublins, Shugabush and Shugafam, Celestials, Etherals, Dipsters, Celestials, and The Werdos. G’Joob and Yawstrich are PS Vita exclusives and are not available on mobile because of Big Blue Bubble making a contract with Sony which stated that they weren’t coming to Mobile. My Singing Monsters: Dawn of FireMy Singing Monsters: Dawn of Fire is the prequel sequel based upon the original My Singing Monsters game, except with more complex mechanics to it. It was launched on September 25, 2015. It was Originally Called my singing monsters: Generations during development, it had different sounds, music, islands, and colorations than today. Examples include monsters requesting personalized treats instead of feeding the normal Food currency. Like the original game, the player builds a musical community from monsters. The player starts off at a place known as "the Continent", which supposedly is most of the original game's islands joined together prior to continental drift that leads to the original game as we know it. Monsters can be bought from the shop or bred from a Breeding Structure. They can be placed anywhere around the Continent, but can also be teleported to islands outside the Continent, which each have a unique song from the Continent. Coins, the primary currency of the game, can only be earned through completing requests made by the monsters, through completing goals, through selling products at the market, or from monsters teleported to Outer Islands when they reach a certain level. Diamonds are a premium currency that can be found in the Wondermine, which is unlocked at level 9 another type of mine, with small chance, or be gained through processing from the Diamond Extractor structure which is similar to the mines in the first game. Instead of the food currency, monsters request their own personalised treats, which are either raw food materials or baked treats from the raw food materials. Requests from monsters may also include non-edible items, such as toys. Requests that are completed grant the selected monster to level up. The player can have monsters that include the Earth, Cold, Water, Plant, Air, or Fire element which makes easy to breed new monsters! In the upcoming 1.20.0 update, there will be a new fire hybrid monster called the Incisaur, which has elements of earth, cold, water, and fire. While there are other differences between the first and second games, the monster variety is one to mention like new monsters Candelavra and Glowl and old monsters Mammott and Oaktupus. In this game it introduces quint elementals like Candelavra and Drummidary. Then they are some unknown monsters are yet to be released for now. There are no Ethreals, Mythicals, Wublins, Wubboxes, Epics, Rares, Seasonals, Shugafam, Werdos, Dipsters, or Glowbles. But up until June 2018, they had a new element which is celestial elements which you can get by logging on every day where you get dice which you can roll to get diamonds, coins and steps to complete the constellation. Once you have completed it, the constellation will reset. Celestials come every month e.g Plixie (November) and Sycopite (May). They resprent natural, ethereal, and supernatural elements. They are no seasonal or lengendary celestials. The Continent, Space Island, Cloud Island, and Cave Island came out on the 25th of September, 2015 and on different platforms and also you go back hundreds of years ago when they first started singing! Notable collaborations and Composer appIn July 2013, Big Blue Bubble announced that they had collaborated with Grammy Award-winning artist Kristian Bush from American country music duo Sugarland to create a new character, the Shugabush.[3][4] Bush had been inspired to collaborate with My Singing Monsters when his 11-year-old son was playing the game. And since I love to dream big via social media, I'm so glad that Dave Kerr and his team at My Singing Monsters dreamed back. I've always wanted to let my inner monster out ... and I think I'm finally about to impress my son."[4] In the game Shugabush is on Plant island and costs 200 diamonds. later in December 2013, Shugabush island was created and Shugabush became the first non natural elemental to breed as well as the ethereal elements. On the island shugabush and the monsters called the Shugafam are 700 diamonds. To get the Shugafam you to have breed natural monsters which are level 15 and the Shugabush teleport them to Shugabush Island.
