He studied in Hyderabad Public School and received bachelor's degree in Mass Communication from Manipal.[2] CareerNag Ashwin began his film industry career as an assistant director for the film Nenu Meeku Telusa...?.[3] He has then worked as an assistant director with Sekhar Kammula for the films Leader (2010 film) and Life Is Beautiful (2012 film).[4][5][6][7] He has directed a Telugu-Tamil bilingual biopic Mahanati, based on the life of late legendary southern actress Savitri.[8] Personal lifeHe is married to Priyanka Dutt, daughter of producer C.
