Lines

Nagata Station is served by the {{Convert|71.7|km|abbr=on}} Chichibu Main Line from {{STN|Hanyū}} to {{STN|Mitsumineguchi}}, and is located {{convert|27.1|km|0|abbr=on}} from Hanyū.[1]

Station layout

The station is staffed and consists of one side platform (platform 1) and one island platform serving three tracks in total. Track 3 is a bidirectional freight loop not normally used by passenger services.[2]

Nagata Station opened on 1 June 1913.[2]
