Cockatoo was drafted with pick 10 in the 2014 AFL Draft,[1] and made his debut in the first round of the 2015 AFL season against Hawthorn.[2] Early lifeCockatoo was born into a family of Indigenous Australian descent (Jupangati and Marrithiyal).
