Nastaran Ahmadi is a writer from New York City. She is a graduate from Washington University in St. Louis where she earned a BA in Theater. She also received an MFA in Playwriting from The Yale School of Drama in May 2006.[1] She received the ASCAP Cole Porter Prize in Playwriting.[2] Some of the full-lengths she has written are The War Is Over, Layla and Majnun,[2] Strangers, Doctoring, Rocket Song, Exile, and The Bet. Her list of shorts include Pardon My Queen, For Art, Splinter, Anti-Politico Mayhem, Thank You, and Cafe de la Tristesse.
