The National Veterans' Committee ({{lang-al|Komiteti Kombetar i Veteraneve te-Liftes Antifashiste te Popullit Shqiptar}})[1] was a pro-communist political party in Albania.[2] HistoryThe party contested the Constituent Assembly elections in 1991, the first multi-party elections held since World War II. It received just 0.3% of the vote, but won a single seat in the 250-seat Assembly.[3][4] However, it did not contest any subsequent elections.[5] References1. ^Dieter Nohlen & Philip Stöver (2010) Elections in Europe: A data handbook, p134 {{ISBN|9783832956097}} {{Albanian political parties}}{{Albania-party-stub}}2. ^{{cite book|author1=Richard Crampton|author2=Benjamin Crampton|title=Atlas of Eastern Europe in the Twentieth Century|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=zmVuBwAAQBAJ&pg=PR11|accessdate=5 May 2016|date=11 June 2016|publisher=Routledge|isbn=978-1-317-79952-8|page=221}} 3. ^Nohlen & Stöver, p137 4. ^{{cite book|author1=Geoffrey Pridham|author2=Tatu Vanhanen|title=Democratization in Eastern Europe|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=KgmIAgAAQBAJ&pg=PA147|accessdate=5 May 2016|date=1 November 2002|publisher=Routledge|isbn=978-1-134-83569-0|page=147}} 5. ^Nohlen & Stöver, p136 4 : Defunct political parties in Albania|Political parties with year of establishment missing|Political parties with year of disestablishment missing|Communist parties in Albania |
