NTD Television is a multilingual service, broadcasting programming in Cantonese, Mandarin as well as English and French. HistoryNew Tang Dynasty Television is a non-profit general interest Chinese language channel that was established by Falun Gong Practitioners in the US in 2001.It airs a unique programming mix of news, cultural shows, educational programs, sports and entertainment. Its flagship program 'NTD News', is well known for its vocal opposition of the Government of China[2]. NTD Television Canada officially launched on Rogers Cable on September 30, 2008[3], on Bell Fibe TV in 2010, and on Shaw Cable on March 28, 2012.
