It was described by Watson in 1965.[1] It is found in Madagascar.[2] The length of the forewings is 16.5-18.5 mm for males and 19 mm for females. The forewings are yellowish buff with numerous transverse striations and a single white spot close to the cell and a very faintly marked postmedial fascia.
