It was described by Watson in 1968.[1] It is found in Yunnan, China.[2] The length of the forewings is 17-19.5 mm for males and 17.5–21 mm for females. The ground colour of the forewings is buff, slightly darker apically. The medial fasciae and cell-spots are darker buff and the subterminal fascia is dark brown. The outer margin is edged with orange buff. The hindwings are brownish white, sometimes with traces of a postmedial and subterminal fascia at the anal margin. The discocellular spot of the under surface is usually showing through the wing.[3] References1. ^{{LepIndex |id=84562 |accessdate=May 27, 2018}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q13902290}}{{Drepaninae-stub}}2. ^{{cite web |last=Savela |first=Markku |url=http://www.nic.funet.fi/pub/sci/bio/life/insecta/lepidoptera/ditrysia/drepanoidea/drepanidae/drepaninae/nordstromia/#undata |title=Nordstromia undata (Watson, 1968) |website=Lepidoptera and Some Other Life Forms |accessdate=August 5, 2018}} 3. ^[https://archive.org/stream/bulletinofbritis1213brit#page/n89/mode/1up Bulletin of the British Museum (Natural History) (Entomology) Supplement 12: 84] 2 : Moths described in 1968|Drepaninae |
