The school moved into new buildings in 2013.[3] North Birmingham Academy offers GCSEs and BTECs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and further BTECs.[4] The school also has specialisms in English and the arts.[5] The school was founded as Perry Common Comprehensive School and was also known as College High School for several years.
