Both the genus and species were first described by Alexey Diakonoff in 1982.[2] DescriptionThe wingspan of the male is 19 mm. Its proboscis is long and weak. Head silvery white. Eye very large. Antenna glossy light brown. Palpi long and glossy white. Thorax pale grayish. Abdomen creamy white, glossy. Forewing oblong and pointed. Forewing glossy white. Markings of forewings gray fuscous with bronze gloss. Basal patch light grayish. Costa with four pale fuscous spots. Cilia creamy. Hindwings whitish.
