He served as the interim head coach for the Florida State Seminoles for the final two games of the 2017 season[1] and has served as defensive line assistant coach for the Seminoles since 1996.[2] A native of Bartow, Florida, Haggins was an All-American defensive lineman for the Seminoles. He was selected by the San Francisco 49ers in the ninth round, 248th overall, of the 1990 NFL Draft.
