}}Stan Kossen was a professor of Organizational Behavior at Merritt College, Oakland, California.[1] He also taught graduate courses in management at Golden Gate University in San Francisco and St. Mary's College in Moraga, California. He has also worked as an author in France.[2] Early life{{Empty section|date=January 2011}}CareerKossen conducted management training programs and was a consultant in the advanced Technology industry. WriterHe is the author of several textbooks, including, The Human Side of Organizations, Creative Selling Today, and Supervision: A Practical Guide to First-Line Management.[3] Professor Kossen developed "Kossen's Law,"* ("K's Law"), in which he states: "Regardless of your state of organization, new tasks and interruptions will seek you out, thereby expanding your responsibilities, commitments, and work load."
