The name "Olga Fest" means "to be like Olga" or "make believe in parties". Olgarians, the people who celebrate Olga Festival were the primary settlers in Copenhagen according to history books during early 2013. There are some early settlers who came before. The festival consists of a lot of drinks, bar hopping, tribal dance, music, and sometimes accompanied by indigenous costumes. Olgarians observe this day with lots and lots of drinking and partying. It has inspired many other Copenhagen Festivals including the J day. HistoryA 21st century (c.2013 A.D.) event explains the origins of the festival. A group of 5 Olgarians, met during the early days in Copenhagen started meeting together for beer or cocktail parties. Feasting and festivities followed soon after. The exact dates are found in any history books. Even though the Olga fest was originally a very traditional festival from the Olgarian tribe practicing some awesome parties, It has its own special contributions from different cultures around the world EventsThe formal opening for the event is when Olga herself arrives at the place. Festival normally goes on as the devotees keep on going with the festivities all over the town from evening to the wee hours of the next morning, rain or shine, for one day or even more. They believe that the cheering spirit of Olga will protect them from harm and illness.
