It was designed by architect Richard K.A. Kletting in Romanesque and/or Renaissance style. It has also been known as Oquirrh Place.[1] It is the only one out of 10 schools designed by Kletting in Salt Lake City that survives. It was a school into the 1960s, and since has been adaptively reused. Its most recent renovation received a preservation award from the Utah Heritage Foundation.[2] It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.[1][3] References1. ^1 2 {{NRISref|version=2010a}} {{National Register of Historic Places}}{{Utah-NRHP-stub}}2. ^{{cite web|url=http://www.utahheritagefoundation.com/saving-places/heritage-awards/2010ha/item/378-oquirrh-school-salt-lake-city#.UUb_THmqYuc |title=Oquirrh School |publisher=Utah Heritage Foundation}} 3. ^{{cite web|url={{NRHP url|id=08001156}} |title=National Register of Historic Places Inventory/Nomination: Oquirrh School |author= |date= |publisher=National Park Service}} and {{NRHP url|id=08001156|title=accompanying photos|photos=y}} 6 : School buildings on the National Register of Historic Places in Utah|Romanesque Revival architecture in Utah|Renaissance Revival architecture in Utah|School buildings completed in 1894|Buildings and structures in Salt Lake City|National Register of Historic Places in Salt Lake City |
