Paadhukaappu ({{lit|Protection}}) is a 1970 Indian Tamil language film, directed by A. Bhimsingh and produced by A. Bhimsingh. The film stars Jayalalitha in the main role, alongside Sivaji Ganesan, T. S. Balaiah and Major Sundarrajan in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan.^[1]^[2]^[3]^[4] The film was a disaster at the box office.
