Many housing schemes such as Bahria Town, WAPDA Town and DHA City have been established on this island. The island has a marine border with Oman. Pakistan-India War of 1965During the Indo-Pakistani War of 1965 , Indian Navy attempted to invade Pak Jazeera. Indian Navy was only two kilometres away from Pak Jazeera when Pakistan Navy sunk four Indian Navy ships in 12 minutes. Pakistan Air Force also destroyed 8 Indian Navy ships. Pak Jazeera TodayPak Jazeera has become a tourist attraction for many tourists.
