It is a non-profit organisation that selects teams and raises funds to send Thailand competitors to Paralympic events organised by the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), Asian Para Games events organised by the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) and ASEAN Para Games events organised by the ASEAN Para Sports Federation (APSF). The council was established on June 11, 1985 and is recognized by International Paralympic Committee (IPC) and Asian Paralympic Committee (APC).[1] The association is headquartered in Pathum Wan, Bangkok.
