}}Parapoynx crisonalis is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Francis Walker in 1859. It has a wide range and has been recorded from India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia (including Sulawesi), China, Taiwan, Japan and Australia (Queensland).[1] It has been recorded from Great Britain through accidental import with aquatic plants.[2] The wingspan is 11–15 mm. There is a pattern of various shades of brown and white on the wings. There is a dark spot near the middle of the hindwings. The larvae are aquatic and feed on various pondweeds.[3] References1. ^{{cite web |last=Nuss |first=M. |display-authors=etal |date=2003–2014 |url=http://globiz.pyraloidea.org/Pages/Reports/TaxonReport.aspx |title=GlobIZ search |website=Global Information System on Pyraloidea |accessdate=2014-07-15}} {{Taxonbar|from=Q14026716}}{{Acentropinae-stub}}2. ^Hantsmoths 3. ^Lepidoptera Larvae of Australia 2 : Acentropinae|Moths described in 1859 |
