As of September 2013, Park is ranked no. 134 in the world for two-person dinghy class by the International Sailing Federation. Park made his official debut at the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou, where he captured a bronze medal for the South Korean team in a match duel against the host nation China with a scintillating record of 3–1.[3] At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London, Park competed as a boat skipper in the men's 470 class by receiving a berth from the World Championships in Barcelona, Spain.[4] Teaming with his crew member and partner Cho Sung-Min in the opening series, Park pulled off a twenty-second-place finish in a fleet of twenty-seven boats with an accumulated net score of 169 points.[5] References1. ^1 {{cite web|title=Park Gun-Woo|url=http://www.london2012.com/athlete/park-gunwoo-1087296/|work=London 2012|accessdate=10 September 2013|deadurl=yes|archiveurl=https://web.archive.org/web/20130501161111/http://www.london2012.com/athlete/park-gunwoo-1087296/|archivedate=1 May 2013|df=}} 2. ^{{cite sports-reference|Park Gun-Woo|https://www.sports-reference.com/olympics/athletes/pa/park-geon-wu-2.html|10 September 2013}} 3. ^{{cite news|title=16th Asian Games Crowns Champions in China|url=http://www.sailing.org/news/9551.php|publisher=ISAF|date=22 November 2010|accessdate=10 September 2013}} 4. ^{{cite news|title=Olympic Qualification Secured on Day 3 at 470 Worlds|url=http://worlds.470.org/eventsites/content.asp?id=12198&eventid=66686|publisher=470 World Championships|date=15 May 2012|accessdate=10 September 2013}} 5. ^{{cite web|title=Men's 470|url=http://www.london2012.com/sailing/event/470-men/phase=sam005910/doc=summary.html|publisher=London 2012|accessdate=27 November 2012}} External links
