Involvement with the Liberal DemocratsStrasburger first became involved in the Liberal Democrats in his home town of Bath in 2005.[2] Strasburger's appointment to the House of Lords was announced in November 2010, and he was created a life Peer on 10 January 2011 as Baron Strasburger, of Langridge in the County of Somerset,[3] taking his seat on 12 January 2011.[4] Strasburger is a major donor to the Liberal Democrats.
