}}Phaloesia saucia, the saucy beauty moth or saucy beauty, is a moth of the family Erebidae. It is found from the Lower Rio Grande Valley of Texas in the United States[1][2] to Venezuela.[3][4] Adults are on wing nearly year round. Adults have been observed feeding on nectar from Chromolaena odorata, Aloysia gratissima and Sabal mexicana.[5] The larvae feed on Tournefortia species, including Tournefortia volubilis.[5] TaxonomyPhaloesia fulvicollis was previously wrongly listed as a synonym of Gnophaela aequinoctialis.
